Here is a summary of the procedure which we send to other customers with 10+ users. 

 
1.       Precept create new mailboxes on Cloud Hosted email portal as agreed with your team.
 
2.        Precept make DNS changes on your  domain name;  This migration begins the process
 your organisation will then begin to go into the Cloud Hosted mailboxes and NO LONGER into the old email server
 
4.       Any staff wanting to check and send mail during the transition should do so, by using the web browser only

and not via Microsoft Outlook Software
 
5.       Precept engineers will then visit all computers remotely using logmein and complete the process  (30mins to 1hour per computer)
·         Export old emails
·         Set up new profile connected to Cloud Hosted Email platform
·         Import old email
·         Set up signature
·         Nb – rules and remembered email addresses may not copy across

http://owa.your domain name . xxx will be available during the migration and on an ongoing basis in the future as the new webmail.
