Can you check and confirm whether this is an isolated case or has it failed on 3 or more subsequent night?
If the backup task has failed on 1 or 2 nights only and gives no specific reason why then in our experience it's more than likely a short outage of internet connectivity.
If previous backups were successful, then we would recommend that youwould wait to see if tonight's backup has problems before taking any further steps.
